Applying to the euCognition Doctoral Consortium
To apply for participation at the CogSys Doctoral Consortium, please submit a research project to the contact address of the Doctoral Consortium organizer. The proposal is restricted to 4000 words (approx. 8 pages). The Doctoral Consortium contribution will be judged against the following criteria:
- Relevance of the research to the field Cognitive Systems
- Quality and originality of the proposal
- Importance of the work for setting up the fundamental aspects of Cognitive systems
- Rigorousness and soundness of results gained or expected.
- Balance between theoretical and experimental results.
The Doctoral Consortium chair will assign each submission to two members of the euCognition Doctoral consortium review committee who will provide the relevant feedback, and will be retained if judged of an acceptable quality. The Doctoral Consortium submissions are accepted only in CogSys’08 conference formats(the template can be found at http://www.cogsys2008.org/submission/initial_submission.php).
