Our MIT programme should not feel too left out, as in last years full National Student Survey (NSS) it was one of the most highly rated courses in the university as well.

Entry requirements

  • A good honours degree (second class or above) in a computing discipline, such as computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or Internet computing
  • Overseas students must provide evidence of proficiency in English with at least IELTS band 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all of reading, writing, speaking and listening, or TOEFL(IBT) with the following scores: Listening 21, Reading 22, Speaking 23 and Writing 21
  • We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully. The Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process could help you to make your work and life experience count. The APL process can be used for entry onto courses or to give you exemptions from parts of your course. Two forms of APL may be used for entry: the Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) or the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)
