About Mathematics
The mathematics undergraduate degree at the University of Salford started with a first intake in October 2010, and is a new and exciting degree with an emphasis on mathematics applied to business and industry, and has plenty of company involvement, with guest speakers, optional sandwich work placement year, and supervised work projects.
There is a mix of experienced and young lecturing staff delivering a range of core and novel modules on the programme.
We also have been awarded HE STEM funding for particularly novel delivery.
