Highlights
The Taster Day will run from 10:15 am to 3:30 pm on Wednesday, 13 June 2012 and is aimed primarily at year 12 A Level students. There is a small poster advertising the event (which you are free to photocopy!). Whilst school staff are welcome, there is no requirement that your students are accompanied on the day.
Our BSc Honours course is aimed at the strong A level mathematics student who enjoys the subject and expects to gain an A grade in mathematics, but who may not feel totally confident in applying to a university that requires 'straight A grades' or a high grade in full Further Mathematics to gain a place. The course emphasises the role of Mathematics as a powerful tool in modern day problem solving as well as the well established areas of Pure Mathematics.
