Nuclear Technology Conference to be held at Salford University

It is a pleasure to announce that the Universities' Nuclear Technology Forum will be taking place at the University of Salford from 14th to 16th April this year. It will be hosted by the Materials & Physics Research Centre - organised and co-ordinated by Prof Keith Ross and colleagues in the Physics Department.

Research groups involved in nuclear science and engineering will be providing an opportunity for research students and research fellows to present their most recent results, and a prize will be awarded for the best contribution.

The growing importance of Nuclear Technologies
during the last few years has meant that the importance and impact of this annual conference have steadily been increasing - last year, around 100 researchers gathered in Cambridge for this event.
