Activity Description

Photovoltaic cells are just one of the many proposed solutions in the quest for renewable and greener energy supplies. This is a hands-on practical activity that involves understanding how to design novel ways of harnessing alternative energy sources. The activity promotes team building and the application of scientific problem solving skills. Longer sessions can permit extension of this activity to include an interactive investigation of the detailed Physics behind photovoltaic materials.
