Books
The materials in the following books are presented in an accessible manner. Both books should be fine as additional reading for any student taking an introductory Astrophysics course.
- 'Spectroscopy - The Key to the Stars', Keith Robinson, 2007, Springer, ISBN: 978-0-387-36786-6
- 'Starlight - An Introduction to Stellar Physics for Amateurs', Keith Robinson, 2009, Springer, ISBN: 978-1-4419-0707-3
Personal
Finally, I'm married with one grown up daughter and one cat. My wife is half Austrian and we tend to go to Vienna once a year - so my German isn't too bad. For hobbies, I enjoy cooking (was mad keen at chemistry as a school kid) and music in the form of classic rock and Frederick Delius.
