Undergraduate Physics Degrees
The study of physics equips students with in depth knowledge of the physical sciences and allows students to develop analytical attributes that are in demand in a wide range of career pathways. Our students also have opportunities to combine the study of a full physics degree with a range of vocational options.

About Salford Physics Degrees
Physics degrees at Salford include some exciting developments underway. We introduced new real-world elements into first year physics degree modules in September 2010. For further information on this, see our PhysicSalford webpages.
At the University of Salford, we offer a variety of degree programmes: either as the stand-alone physics subject, or as a set of specialist vocational options (about 20 percent reflecting individual interests) alongside the full set of core modules from the physics degree.
Physics students study for three years for a Bachelor of Science with Honours, BSc (Hons), degree
or for four years for the advanced Master of Physics, MPhys, degree.
We also offer a physics degree programme that enables students to study for a year at an American University. Detailed information on each physics degree programme can be found by following the above links.
