Physics with an International Foundation Year

For overseas students that fall short of the full English Language requirement for
entry into regular degree programmes, Salford University's International Foundation Year (IFY)
presents an opportunity to study here during a one-year programme.
The one-year programme is composed of:
40 credits of English Language, alongside
40 credits of Foundation Physics, and
40 credits of Foundation Mathematics.
Successful students, who pass this International Foundation Year, gain
sufficient Language qualification to enter the first year of Salford's Physics degree programmes.
They will have also demonstrated sufficient technical proficiency in their subjects, and will be well-prepared for first year Physics modules.
