The WAVE Research team have spent the last 12 months examining and evaluating gender segregation in the audio/visual area of engineering. This conference will present the key findings from the research and will give delegates the chance to discuss findings with members of the team and the panel.

The event was very well attended, and the project team were pleased to be able to greet many different people from different backgrounds. The keynote address given by Ela Jastrzebska who discussed the future for the BBC. The presentation from the WAVE team was very well received with many delegates interested in the main findings and the future for AV engineers. Each delegate was given a delegate information pack, which included a leaflet detailing the main focus of the research, the reasons for this, as well as the main findings from the project.
